Years 1 and 2 Natural environments and objects
The children in years 1 and 2 were asked to explore the “natural environment” around them and the “natural objects and colours” within them. We explored some of the settings in the classic story “we’re going on a bear hunt” by Michael Rosen. Throughout the six weeks the children produced a selection of art work, explored various techniques, media and colour. They also built a word wall describing the different environments and used this in their story writing.
