Access Group visit our new bird hide

Having had to postpone our visit to the school bird hide because of poor weather, the Access Group finally made it down there on Monday 30th April.

The weather was lovely and the children enjoyed seeing a variety of wildlife.  This included a Harlequin ladybird, an alien species to this country that is threatening our native ladybirds.

The new pond looked amazing and already is attracting losts of insects, birds and animals.

Thank you to the fundraisers who bought the binoculars for the children to use!
